We know this is a bit old, but still good stuff. In fact, this video has been published on the web for some time...just not in the feed. Considering the news in the next paragraph below, we decided to publish it now.  Besides, it's been a while for a Vidcast. At EAA Airventure 2010, Tiff and Bill caught up with Mikey McBryan from the Ice Pilots NWT Canadian TV show for a little goofing off...and an interview. More information about Ice Pilots NWT can be found on the show website: http://www.icepilots.com/

The great news is that National Geographic is now carrying the first season of this show in the US. You can find more information about that here: http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/series/ice-pilots/all/Overview We asked Mikey about this back in July and he said they were working on getting it to the US; looks like they finally succeeded.

Certainly take a look at this show if you get a chance, it's pretty fun to watch...probably even for non aviation nuts...but we wouldn't know anything about that.

This video was shot at EAA Airventure 2010 in Oshkosh, WI. We shot the interview, as described in the video, in one of Buffalo Airways' DC-3s. Enjoy.

The Efficiency Guage! It's once again time for the Pilotcast with your hosts Pilot Tiffany, Pilot Kent, and Pilot Bill.  In this episode we'll talk about the efficiency guage.  Don't have one of those in your airplane?  You'll wish you had one; imagine 140 knots on 9 gallons per hour.  We'll tell you how it's done.  Then we'll talk about restoring really cool old warbirds.  What's not to like?  Come in from that cold ramp, pull a chair up around this toasty warm radial engine, and let's get ready for some pilot talk.

Don't forget to check out Scheyden Eyewear, the absolute best in the business, especially for aviators.  Use our discount code PCAST30 for 30% off an already great value!

Also, the Pilotcast flight crew all use Lightspeed Zulu headsets, and we think you should, too.  Don't forget to choose an aviation charity for Lightspeed to donate $50 of your Zulu purchase price to.  See more about this at the Lightspeed Aviation Foundation website.
